Club times: 2:05–3:05 pm

Students will not be allowed to participate in clubs if:

  • They are picked up late three times
  • If they miss a club three times

Martial Arts Club

In a noncompetitive setting, all students will learn and practice skills to gain a better understanding of the basics of self-defense and discipline.  Students will be building and developing reflexes that can help them avoid potential dangers as needed.  This class will focus on having respect and self-control.

Future Horticulturist

Using interdisciplinary curriculum, students in grades 2-5 will acquire the hands-on experience and explore the process of growing plants & gardening.  Students will apply new ideas and basic life skills to cultivate and maintain "Alamosa Gardens."

Mural Mathness

Incorporating art and mathematical concepts, students from grades 3-5 will have the hands-on opportunities to create school murals while applying their daily mathematical concepts and spatial senses involved with arts.

Dance Club

Students in grades K-5 will be exploring variety of social dances using variety of music that are trendy to students.  The club will also focus on mobility, flexibility, musicality, postures, good alignment, relationship and sense of style.

Running Club

Students in grades K-5 will use our track and field to practice running.  The club will put an emphasis on making running fun, using good technique, learning to track heart rates, distance, frequency, and intensity.

Lego Club

At Bricks4Kidz, we learn, we build, and we play with LEGOs.  Students from grades K-5 will use LEGO products to create hands- on learning and building experience focused on STEM concepts.

Zumba Club

Grades 1-5 — Limit 15 spots

Students in grades 2 - 5, will practice several dance movements from both online and videos to build and develop fitness and motor skills.

Chess Club

Students grade 2 - 5 will have opportunity to keep their mind engaged, build chess knowledge, make new friendship through playing and practice the game of chess.  Students will have opportunity to join the chess tournament.

Guitar Club

Students in grades 3-5 will explore the fundamentals of stringed instruments, specifically guitars . They will learn chords and notes. Students will learn to read guitar tabs and create their own music. Students will be introduced to well-known musicians (guitarists) through literature and will have opportunity to practice, develop their musical style, and participate in school performances.

Eclectic Arts Club

Students in grades K-5 will explore different aspects of art through literatures and hands-on activities.   Students will have the opportunity to build portfolio and share discussion of their favorite art style.
